Orchestre d'Harmonie du Val d'Aoste
The Orchestre d'Harmonie du Val d'Aoste was founded in 1985 and officially began its activities with the execution of the Concert du Nouvel An at the Giacosa Theatre of Aosta on January 4, 1986, as part of the Saison Culturelle 1985/1986.It consists of about 80 musicians from different locations of the Aosta Valley and Canavese and it is directed by Lino Blanchod.
The complex boasts the participation in major national and international band competitions, prizes and international awards, recordings, concerts in Italy and Europe and collaborations with renowned soloists.
